Instructions:

  • Introduce Fibonacci Numbers to students and show how numerous patterns in nature follow the Fibonacci sequence.
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, ...

Each number in the Fibonacci sequence is the sum of two previous numbers:
1+1=2
1+2=3
2+3=5
3+5=8
5+8=13
8+13=21
13+21=34

Suggested Lessons or Activities:

  • Students will create animations and artwork using Flash templates with the Fibonacci golden ratio embedded in them.

Special Features:

  • A variety of templates will be provided to students which they can modify easily.
