Choose a difficulty level. Level 6 (infinity level) is locked and you have to pass level 5 to advance to this level.

Click 4 matching corners (same colour or shape) that when connected will form a rectangle. The area of this rectangle determines your points. If your rectangle is at least 20 units, your points are doubled and if you answer the pop-up question correctly, your points are doubled again and you add 10 seconds to your time! The pop-up questions will appear on the right side, which you may choose to answer. This game is also leveled. See the chart at the bottom of this page to learn about the levels. Earn 30 sec. extra time when you "zap" the whole board or half of the board (5 complete rows or columns) as well as 1000 points! This game involves strategies, multiplication skills and chance. The game board is arranged on a grid.

Suggested Lessons or Activities:

This is a game designed to show how you can multiply the sides of a rectangle to find its area (A = l x w, or Area = length x width). This game is great for any age as answering the multiplication questions is only optional. Those wanting to gain more points need to find rectangles that are at least 20 squares and if they answer the question correctly, they earn 4 times the usual points plus 10 seconds extra time. For example, a 10 x 3 rectangle will give you (10 x 3) x 2 x 2 = 120 points. There are 2 types of questions. The first type gives you the sides of the rectangle and you have to find the area. The other questions give you the area and you have to decide what the sides of the rectangles are. If you make a full board (10 x 10 square) or a half board (10 x 5), you will have to multiply three numbers together and if you answer the question correctly, you will earn 1000 points and 30 sec. extra time! Half boards are much more common than full boards (12x more common) but also harder to see. Sometimes instead of questions, you will get a fruit. Click it for free points (fruit power)!

Ask the students to work in groups and call out the coordinates of the rectangles for their partner to click.

This game is useful for studying area, arrays, grid coordinates, as well as multiplication and division.
